07 December 2006: Before we left Charleston,SC, I was able to capture a photo of this white ibis trying to land on a very skinny tree. In this photo you can see the black tips on its wings. These birds naturally aerate the soil digging for worms and insects with their long beaks, but their digging might not be welcomed by all gardeners.
