And the story goes ...

19 February 2006: We can walk to the Pacific Ocean and the Chetco River Harbor in Brookings, Oregon from where we are camped in Driftwood RV Park. I enjoy playing "Can you see me now?" with the cats on the jetty and trying to snap photos of those elusive CA sea lions. In this photo, you can see three of the jetty cats. I have seen about 15 cats in this colony. Sadly, these are cats whose families have left them behind. Local folks care for them. See more images of cats by clicking on the photo.
