And the story goes ...
06 January 2006
This is a photo of one of several interesting doors in the Friedberg Castle, one of the largest areas of medieval remains of a castle in Germany. Our German friend Henning attends school inside these castle walls. Friedberg is located just north of Frankfurt. It is most famous as the town where Elvis Presley was stationed in the US Army at Ray Barracks. However, Elvis lived in the nearby town of Bad Nauheim, a resort spa town famous for its mineral springs used to cure respiratory illnesses, heart problems, and skin diseases.
