And the story goes ...

This is a photo of a calalily, sometimes spelled calla lily, with the botanical name of Zantedeschia. It is blooming here in the Driftwood RV Park on the southern coast of Oregon. It has been raining too much here, but when the sun does shine, the flowers glow. Brookings is known as the "home of winter flowers." Just as I grew tired of cold, snowy weather during our holiday trip to Germany, I am now growing tired of rainy weather here on the OR coast. I'm ready for spring flowers blooming in mild temperatures and sunshine, and it's only mid-January. But here, the daffodils, irises, and Easter lilies are already coming up, so, this winter weather shall pass ...
