27 June 2006: This is a photo of a white peony growing in Tom's parents' yard in Fairmont, WV, near Morgantown. Peonies are not wildflowers. They have a long history of being used as food and medicine and have been popular in gardens and as inspiration in artwork for over 4,000 years.
