11 January 2007: This handsome fellow is an anhinga who was residing in Turtle Creek that runs through the Turtle Creek Campground in Homosassa, FL. Anhingas prefer to live in freshwater creeks, ponds, lakes, and swamps. They spear fish underwater with their beaks and they flap their wings to dry themselves.
