27 January 2007: Alligators! Alligators everywhere! Tom and I drove into the Florida Everglades last week. According to one of the local guys, we were there at the right time of day, mid-day, to see the 'gators sunning at siesta time. The canals were full of them. I saw so many, I had nightmares about them. Guess you would get used to them if you lived here. These two little ones, note the head of a second one in the foreground, were hanging out together on this log in Big Cypress National Preserve.
