12 March 2005: I was snapping away taking more photos of damaged and destroyed properties battered by Hurricane Ivan along the Gulf coastal towns when I looked down and saw this beautiful shell that had been washed up on a curb. Amidst so much destruction, I was suddenly aware of some of the beauty that brings folks to this place.
